First Baptist Church Lamesa adheres to the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, The Texas Baptist Convention, and the Lamesa Baptist Association.

History of First Baptist Church Lamesa

First Baptist Church of Lamesa, Texas, was formed in 1905. Many changes have occurred in the building in which the church has met, but the vision and heart of First Baptist Church has not changed. We are simply trying to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, by Loving God, Loving People, and Sharing Life.
